Georgetown Police Department donates Christmas gifts to Grant Parish Sheriff’s toys for kids program

The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office is getting an early start on spreading Christmas cheer thanks to a donation of toys and gifts presented by the Georgetown Police Department.

Georgetown Police Chief Vic Williams recently delivered gifts donated by clients of SKY Auction to support the Sheriff’s Office’s annual Toys for Kids program.

The donated items will be distributed to children throughout Grant Parish as part of the department’s holiday outreach efforts.

The Toys for Kids program helps bring Christmas joy to children and families across the parish through the collection and distribution of donated gifts.

The contribution represents a collaborative effort between local law enforcement agencies, businesses and community supporters to help make the holiday season brighter for area children.

The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation to Chief Williams, the Georgetown Police Department and SKY Auction clients for their generosity and support of the program.

With the holiday season approaching, the donation provides an early boost to the Sheriff’s Office’s Christmas gift distribution efforts and highlights the role of community partnerships in supporting Grant Parish families.
