Hot, sunny conditions expected across Grant Parish through Sunday

GRANT PARISH, La. — Hot and mostly clear conditions are expected to continue across Grant Parish through the weekend, with afternoon temperatures remaining in the mid-90s, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will be sunny and hot with a high near 95 degrees. Winds will be calm before becoming southwesterly at around 5 mph during the morning. Wednesday night will be mostly clear with a low around 75.

Thursday will remain sunny and hot with a high near 96 degrees. Mostly clear skies are expected Thursday night as temperatures fall to around 71.

Friday will bring another sunny and hot day with a high near 96. Friday night will be mostly clear with a low around 73.

The hot and dry pattern will continue into the weekend. Saturday will be sunny and hot with a high near 96 degrees, followed by mostly clear conditions Saturday night and a low around 73.

Sunday will remain sunny and hot with a high near 96 degrees.

With several consecutive days of high temperatures in the mid-90s, residents should stay hydrated, take frequent breaks when working or exercising outdoors and limit strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
