Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office arrests Montgomery man on multiple drug distribution charges

A Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Montgomery man facing multiple felony drug and weapons charges.

According to the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old Walter Burks of Montgomery was taken into custody following an investigation into suspected drug activity.

Authorities say Burks was arrested on several charges related to the alleged possession and distribution of illegal narcotics, including:

Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute

Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute

Possession of Suboxone with Intent to Distribute

Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute

Possession of Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute

Possession of Xanax with Intent to Distribute

Possession of a Legend Drug Without Prescription

Illegal Carrying of Weapons with Drugs
