Warm week ahead for Grant Parish with increasing weekend rain chances

Thursday night brings a 30 percent chance of showers before midnight, with overnight lows holding steady around 61.

Friday will see mostly sunny skies and a 20 percent chance of showers, with afternoon temperatures climbing to near 79 degrees.

Rain chances increase Friday night, with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and lows falling to around 57.

The likelihood of rain continues into Saturday, when there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Skies will be partly sunny, with cooler temperatures and a high near 74 degrees. Saturday night remains unsettled, with a 40 percent chance of showers and lows dropping to around 45.

Conditions improve slightly Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and only a 20 percent chance of showers. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler, with a high near 65 degrees.
