Continuing a family tradition, Josh Fletcher, the grandson of Randell Fletcher, bought pancake breakfasts for every employee at Verda Elementary and Montgomery High School for the annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. The Fletcher family has long provided breakfast for both schools to support the event.

The fundraiser, which benefits the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Toys for Kids program, was held Oct. 31 from 6 to 9 a.m. at the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office.
