Pro Fence Unlimited LLC owner Stephen Blalock donated all the fencing materials needed to build a new play yard for the shelter’s dogs earlier this month and after seeing how much the dogs enjoyed it on a visit last week, he’s already planning to donate materials for a fourth yard.

Shelter staff said the play yards are more than a “nice extra.” They give dogs a safe place to run, relax and show their personalities while they wait for homes, helping keep them happier and easier to place.
