Families interested in learning more about the Grant Parish 4-H Shooting Sports program are invited to attend a Meet & Greet Shooting Sports Showcase on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026.

The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Michael D. Burns Shooting Complex, located at 1142 Landfill Road in Dry Prong.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit stations showcasing the program’s three disciplines:

Rifle

Shotgun

Archery

A question-and-answer session will conclude the showcase.

Event organizers will also offer sign-ups at the event, with an additional sign-up opportunity scheduled for Sept. 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
