Grant Parish Public Schools is inviting students and families to kick off the new school year by attending Open House events across the district on Thursday, Aug. 6.

The annual event gives families an opportunity to meet teachers, explore campuses, complete back-to-school preparations, and receive important information before classes begin for the 2026–2027 school year.

During Open House, families will be able to:

Meet teachers and school staff.

Drop off school supplies.

Complete or pick up important paperwork.

Pay school fees.

Purchase or pick up school shirts.

Learn about transportation, school clinics, and other back-to-school information.

Get answers to questions before the first day of school.

Grant Junior High School
6th Grade Only: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
All Grades (6th–8th): 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

District officials encourage families to check their child’s school’s Facebook page for any campus-specific updates or additional information before attending.

With the first day of school just around the corner, Grant Parish Public Schools says it looks forward to welcoming students and families back and beginning another successful academic year.
