Today, we’re celebrating three remarkable Grant Parish Public Schools alumni who grew up together, learned together, and each followed a different path to extraordinary success. Some stories are simply too special to tell one at a time.

๐‘ด๐’†๐’†๐’• ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’Š๐’Ž๐’†๐’“ ๐‘บ๐’Š๐’”๐’•๐’†๐’“๐’”: Dr. Natalie Brimer Maxey, Dr. Samantha Brimer Zeringue and Dr. Amanda Brimer Dubois,

The daughters of Sam and Judy Brimer, these three remarkable women have remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped them. While each has followed a unique career path, they continue to invest in Grant Parish by raising their families here, serving in their church, and leading with excellence in their professions.

๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—ก๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜…๐—ฒ๐˜† earned her B.S.in Engineering from Louisiana Tech University before completing her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Today, she serves as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Louisiana Christian University, where she is helping shape the future of higher education by mentoring the next generation of leaders and inspiring students to use their knowledge, innovation, and integrity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ญ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ฒ, ๐— ๐—— earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine before completing her General Surgery residency at Tulane University Medical Center. Today, she serves as a board-certified Trauma, Critical Care, and General Surgeon at Rapides Regional Medical Center, where she provides expert care to patients facing some of life’s most serious medical emergencies. Her skill, compassion, and dedication make a lasting difference for countless patients and families across Central Louisiana.

๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—”๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐——๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐˜€ earned her undergraduate from Louisiana Tech University then continued until she received her Ph.D. She now serves as Associate Professor of Biology and Director of the Honors Program at LSU of Alexandria. Though she originally envisioned a career in a research laboratory rather than the classroom, Dr. Dubois discovered a passion for teaching which has her developing the next generation of scientists, healthcare professionals, and leaders.
