Grant Parish Deputy Nathan Lincecum graduates from Police Academy

Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office is celebrating the achievement of Deputy Nathan Lincecum following his graduation from the police academy.

According to the sheriff’s office, Lincecum successfully completed 17 weeks of intensive law enforcement training as part of the academy program.

Training included instruction in Louisiana laws, defensive tactics, firearm safety and qualification, and a variety of additional law enforcement skills designed to prepare officers for service in their communities.

Sheriff’s Office officials praised Deputy Lincecum for his dedication and commitment throughout the training process and welcomed him as he begins the next phase of his law enforcement career in Grant Parish.

Police academy programs across Louisiana are designed to provide recruits with the physical training, classroom instruction, and practical experience necessary to serve and protect the public safely and professionally.

The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office extended congratulations to Deputy Lincecum on his accomplishment and wished him success in his continued service to the parish community.
