Grant Parish Schools Ranked Among Top Literacy Leaders in Louisiana

Grant Parish Public Schools has been recognized as fourth in the state for exceptional growth in literacy, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

The honor highlights the efforts of students, families and teachers across the district. Superintendent Stokes, in remarks to the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education earlier this week, praised educators for their dedication. “We want to recognize our teachers who work so hard every single day,” he said.

District leaders described the recognition as proof that, while small, Grant Parish is “mighty” in its commitment to academic success.
