Today’s celebration is brought to you by not one, not two, but three national holidays designed to give moms a break on September 6!
Tori Spelling made national news last week when she revealed in a podcast that she often dresses her youngest child in his school clothes before bed to save time in the morning. The horrified grandmother in me began to judge when a long-buried memory started to surface. My son Cody was next to impossible to wake up on school mornings. I’m fairly certain I also did this more than once in the 90’s.
Happy National Lazy Moms Day!
Moms are master multitaskers and time spent silently reading is often labeled as unproductive in our minds. Yet today is the day to read without guilt, to take a literary escape from reality in the name of being patriotic.
Happy National Read a Book Day!
After you’ve celebrated #NationalLazyMomsDay by ordering pizza instead of cooking and given the kids extra screen time so you could participate in #ReadABookDay, there’s one last holiday to celebrate: #CoffeeIceCreamDay
Grab a big bowl and dig in to that frozen caffeine as you lounge about on the trifecta of national holidays designed for moms just like you who deserve a special day just like this!
